Adult & Youth Dinghy Sailing Lessons

Our private dinghy lessons are a combination of onshore theory and on-the-water instruction. Come sail with one of our instructors to learn the basics of sailing, as a refresher for those who haven't sailed in a while, or to take your sailing to the next level.

Lessons are held on an Optimist, Sunfish,
Open Bic, or Laser as determined by the instructor.

Private Lessons have a 2-hour minimum

Fees per 2-hour lesson:

SCYC Members - $150

Resident Non Members (with VI License) - $180

St. Croix Visitors - $210

3 hour lessons are available by advance request

Discounted 5-Lesson Packages are available
must be paid in full prior to first lesson.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Club is formed for the express purpose of promoting interest and activity in the ownership, racing and cruising of yachts and small boats; of providing a meeting place for members whose common interest lies in ships and the sea; of augmenting the recreational facilities and visitor attractions of the island; of exchange and courtesies with other yacht clubs of the United States and Caribbean islands, and of extending to visiting yachtsmen the hospitality of St. Croix.
